To start my development, i originally began to experiment with fixer gel applied with stencils in dark room, on my digital negatives.
My experiments with fixer then moved to creating words with the stencil, in which i created the word 'Change' spelling across my digital negatives.
I decided on the word "change" as it the main focus of my component, in which the images express visually whilst the letters placed on top show the 'change' in a form of verbal communication as well as visual.
To create my final piece, i used the same technique, exposing my images first, the applying the gel fixer with the letter stencils- then with a brush i applied developer to my photos, leaving the rest of the chemigram paper untouched, then finally applying fixer over the whole paper: in which i then exposed to sunlight.
