Originally when placing and tracing my photographs by layering them to be transferred onto the carbon paper- i intended to place both a digital negative and the carbon paper tracings overlapping each over creating a double layered negative- however the paper was too thick to show both the negative and the tracings. However i found by overlapping both slightly over one and other created a mixed media negative that further displays yet again a sense of change in a more artistic view point.
